POSTPONEMENT OF GRAHAMSTOWN CONVERSATION PART II

Dear Member,

We were anticipating that the newly appointed Turnaround Specialist for the Makana Municipality would be in office in time for our Grahamstown Conversation Part II and that he would be able to give our members an update on the Way Forward for Makana.  However we have been informed that he will only take up this position after 12th October 2017.

We want the Conversation to have as much relevance as possible and without the Turnaround Specialist’s feedback we will just be re-stating the problems with no prospect of a solution.

We are therefore postponing the Grahamstown Conversation Part II until the Municipal Official takes up office.

We will update you further once we have more news on the appointment and have agreed on a suitable date for the Grahamstown Conversation Part II.

Warm Regards

Marlene Mitchener
